About the Chicago Detours Store
Chicago Detours brings curious people to explore stories and places locals don’t even know through guided tours of Chicago architecture, history and culture. We offer regularly scheduled tours of interior architecture and historic bars to the public, and a wide variety of private group walking tours and bus tours. Our store stocks both items made for Chicago Detours, and is expanding to include creative, locally made Chicago products and souvenirs.

Chicago Detours does not sell or share your information with any organization or company.

Ordering Information
It’s easy to order online. The first time you order from us, we ask that you create a secure account which allows for easier ordering. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Email us at shop@chicagodetours.com with any questions.

Shipping
Standard UPS service is available for United States and Canada. Some large items may require extra shipping charges. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses. Chicago Detours is not responsible for duties, taxes, port handling fees and or other customs charges added by a country when determining your shipment’s total shipping cost for international shipping.

All orders (including UPS Next Day, and 2nd Day) will be sent out within 72 business hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Business days are Monday through Friday, with the following exceptions: New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please note: Saturdays and Sundays are not delivery or transit days for UPS.
We may be able to offer pick-up at our office at 30 E. Adams Street, Suite 425 in downtown Chicago. We do not have a storefront, and we only allow pick-up via appointment.

Taxes
All orders shipped within the state of Illinois will be charged 9.75% Chicago sales tax. Orders shipped outside the state will not be charged tax. Chicago Detours is not responsible for duties, taxes, port handling fees and or other customs charges added by a country when determining your shipment’s total shipping cost for international shipping.

Security
Chicago Detours uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your online shopping and account information. The shopping cart and account pages feature SSL encryption, which secures your personal information.

Returns/Exchanges
We are a small business and at this point, cannot accept returns on any item. All sales are final.

Damages
If you receive merchandise that has been damaged during shipment, please email us at shop@chicagodetours.com. Include your name, address, order number and at least one photo of the damage. A replacement will be shipped to you ASAP (assuming the product is still in-stock). You will also receive instructions on what to do with the damaged merchandise.
